Ticketing is the most widespread method of parking enforcement used in the UK today, due to its flexibility and non cofrontational nature. We at TGS parking Services have a complete ticket issuing and processing system which works as follows:
- The site is evaluated and the parking problems identified
- Signs are erected stating the rules for parking (an effective deterrent)
- One of our fully trained, uniformed parking enforcement teams patrols the site and identifies any vehicles that are illegally parked
- A parking charge notice is issued and vehicle information including digital images are sent back to the central parking database
- If the charge is not paid within the specified time the vehicle owners details are obtained through the D.V.L.A database and our in-house debt recovery team takes steps to recover the amount

Legality
As required by law large and clear warning signs should be placed throughout the parking location in order to inform motorists of any parking restrictions in place. These signs should be located so that they are easily visible from wherever a car may be issued with a Parking Charge Notice, should they park in breach of any parking restrictions, they shall be entering into a contract agreeing that we can issue a Parking Charge Notice to their vehicle in accordance with the warning signs displayed. By parking, the driver automatically enters into a contract with us to enforce any restrictions and charges displayed on the warning signs.
